1CRM Cloud Service Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers the privacy practices that 1CRM employs when providing support, consulting, or hosting services (the “Services”) to 1CRM clients through 1CRM’s Cloud Service. 1CRM established this Privacy Policy to clarify 1CRM’s role as a processor where 1CRM processes services data on behalf of 1CRM clients through 1CRM’s Cloud Service.

Services data (“Services Data”) is data that 1CRM is provided access to in connection with the 1CRM Cloud Service and the related Services, such as data accessed through a 1CRM Cloud Service environment or data accessed through test, development and production environments. 1CRM treats Services Data in the manner set forth below.

Services Data Use

Services Data may be accessed and used to fulfill the requirements specified in any relevant 1CRM customer agreement for Services or Software Offerings. 1CRM technical staff may require periodic access to Services Data to monitor system performance, test systems and develop and implement upgrades to systems. Any temporary copies of Services Data created as a necessary part of this process are only maintained for time periods relevant to those purposes.

1CRM may also be required to provide personal information to comply with legally mandated reportings, disclosure or other legal process requirements. 1CRM reserves a limited right to disclose any personally identifiable information we receive if required by law or valid order of a court or other governmental authority, or if needed to protect the health and safety of 1CRM employees, a client’s employees, or the general public.

1CRM may transfer and access Services Data globally as required for the purposes specified above. If 1CRM hires subcontractors to assist in providing Services, their access to Services Data will be consistent with the terms of any relevant 1CRM customer agreement and this 1CRM Cloud Service Privacy Policy.

1CRM does not use Services Data except as stated above or as provided in any relevant 1CRM customer agreement. 1CRM may process Services Data, but does not control an 1CRM client’s information collection or use practices for Services Data. If an 1CRM client provides any Services Data to 1CRM, the client is responsible for providing any notices and/or obtaining any consents necessary for 1CRM to access and use Services Data as specified in this statement and any relevant 1CRM customer agreement.

1CRM’s access to Services Data is based on job role/responsibility. Services Data residing in 1CRM hosted systems is controlled via an access control list (ACL) mechanism, as well as the use of an account management framework. As 1CRM clients control access to Services Data by its end-users, end-users should direct any requests related to their personal information to 1CRM clients.

Certain 1CRM Cloud Offerings may provide 1CRM clients the ability to collect personal information, via cookies and other technologies, from their end-users. 1CRM clients should seek their own legal advice about any laws applicable to their collection of such information, so that 1CRM clients can be sure that they are complying with those laws, including providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents.
